Seven sumptuous seats.
The Zafira’s seats have always been revolutionary, and now Opel has taken them one step further. The Zafira Tourer has several possibilities, offering anything from two to seven seats.
1. The pioneer
When the Opel Zafira was launched in 1999, it was the first seven-seater in its class, setting new standards with fully integrated onboard flexibility. No longer was it necessary to remove and store heavy additional third-row seats – you just hid them away.
2. The next generation
Opel’s engineers have made more big changes to the already sophisticated Flex7 seating concept. Once again, the entire third row slides into the floor of the boot, but now the second row has been completely redesigned. Instead of a line of three seats, the standard configuration comprises three separate seats which can be laid flat to form a level load surface.
3, 4. Plenty of legroom in the back seats
The three individual seats can be independently moved forward and back by 210 millimetres
5. Lounge seat system
With the optional lounge seat system, the outer seats can be moved 280 millimetres, and a sophisticated fold-and-turn mechanism transforms the middle seats into a comfortable armrest.
6. A touch of luxury
In the lounge seat system, parts of the middle seat fold and the armrests can be raised, creating more space to the side.
7. Sideways movement
This is another innovation in this area: the seats slide 50 millimetres towards the centre of the vehicle. The ability to shift them forwards, backwards and sideways gives a uniquely luxurious “lounge on wheels” feel, with the maximum of space and comfort.
- As a two-seater, the Zafira Tourer has a maximum load capacity of 1,860 litres.
- As a four-seater, it offers the perfect combination of comfort and space.
- As a five-seater, the Zafira Tourer has space for 710 litres of baggage.
- As a six seater, the middle row is particularly spacious.
- As a seven seater, it can transport an entire family safely and comfortably.
